When our founder, a mother of five, stayed awake an entire weekend seeking help for her child, she felt incredibly defeated. Call after call, hearing the words, “We only treat adults” did not sit well, when she was already searching outside of a 2-hour drive. While crying to several people on the other end of the phone that weekend, the words, “but what can you do about it?” stuck with her. She had responded with the “usual” cop outs: 

“When my life calms down…” 

“When things aren’t so crazy…” 

“Someday…” 

It was not until one person said these words that jump started everything:
